M4 East is a $3 Billion project to extend Sydney’s existing M4 freeway a further 6.5 kilometers east, 5.5km of which is in tunnels from Homebush to Haberfield. The M4 East is the first underground section of WestConnex.
CPB Contractors Samsung John Holland Joint Venture was selected to deliver the project. The M4 East received planning approval in February 2016 and work commenced in March 2016, creating more than 4000 jobs.
The project is planned to open to the public in 2019.

One of ammjohn’s Mechanical Engineer’s with experience in international supply and installation of equipment provided project risk and opportunity assessments, constructability reviews, parallel programming for stakeholder reporting, as well as quality and procurement coordination meetings and reporting.
Ammjohn also provided, and continues to provide a site superintendent for the Parammatta Road Ventilation facility. This includes site surveillance and parallel program reporting for the works completed by the Head Contractor.
